Nice pics Jimmy....

I remember a while back of pics of some of your "Bulldog" discus.....I thought they were very nice...I liked the shape and the large size....To me they certainly aren't culls.....

Kaceyo: There will be some. I've seen some blue diamond has the grand father's gene in them, but the percentage is low. Only the mother of that brood has the bulldog gene. The father is Wayne's Angel diamond. That's why that brood has every flavour in it. But the pigeon strain has quite a bit of peppering in them. Not too bad for the early trial pigeon cross.

Kaceyo,
Some on the breeding section and the pictures are not that well taken, and the rest are at the buyer's feedback section..

This one is from Violet Relection cross red Melon. You can see the "Tiger face".( I will stop using bulldog from now on.) from it. That's the grand-father of the brood I gave Barb Newell at simply. That brood has the bulldog genes in them. That's why they are so round. I didn't use the name bulldog otherwise people would say they are culls.

Jimmy,

I really like your bulldogs!  A great high-bodied fish.  What name are they sold under now?

Mario: I do have Chee  Sang Ng's. Bulldog Blue of their original name which cost me $1000 a piece HK 15 years ago and I'm still breeding them. the name has been discarded since no body likes the name Bulldog and consisder a cull. The new name is whatever people wants to hear. Most of my fish has the bulldog genes in themn. I really like the body shape and they do throw some BD. Here is one I'm still breeding. Not too many people still have the orginal strain. Some still have them are selling $800 a piece HK for a 3" fish with a different name. Translate in English is "Higher than the sky". means the dosal fin is sky high. "Teen Bay Go." in Chinese if you still remember.
PS. The redness is caused by feeding Naturose by mistake.

Grin Love em, Mario, Danny and Wayne!!!!!!

BTW I was not being critical of the bars at all. Those faint ones only show up when I freak them out and they get stressed; that is the most I ever see on them. Normally there are no bars.

Derrick,
Those are not my fish, it is from the breeder and it was a big discussion on this thread
regarding the three different type of fish, the stress bars and so on and that's the main
reason the pictures were posted.
Those are lovely discus and thanks for the compliment on those fish.
